A day on the river

Ah the beautiful English summertime,  all 3.5 days of it. What better to enjoy it in all its splendour than to take a trip to one of the great cities with a river and go punting. For those outside of our fair isles, Punting is where you take a flat bottomed boat and place it on a calm and fairly shallow river and use a pole to push yourself along - making a minimum of noise in the process so to enjoy the beauty of nature and all who exist in her domain.  

In this game, not only do you proceed in a sedate and polite manner, but you also use your punting pole aka a Quant, to beat the living snot out of anyone else you see on the river disturbing your peace.

The controls are:

WASD - to move (although, not your typical movement.. this is punting afterall, W is the I wish to proceed button where you will punt forwards. Holding A or D at the same time means, I also wish to punt sideways. Releasing W means while still holding A or D or even still moving along the river, I wish to steer using my quant as a rudder. Pressing S will start you reversing or emergency stopping.. This is a fairly uncouth means of stopping and is frowned upon, but as long as no-one is disturbed, it'll be fine.

Q toggles EXTREME VIOLENCE mode. Where Space is to Jab, Enter is to swipe and Backspace is to block. W and S alter your attack angle.
